Is there a way for an incoming email to automatically create a case in Dynamics CRM 2011 on prem?

You can use a button or custom workflow activity or even plugins to do this.

CRM 2013 has this as a built-in feature. So, if you have are planning to update CRM in near future then consider postponing this requirement until then.

There is a tool in codeplex that will automatically convert email to case.It has more options check it and i think it will work better in your case.

Thanks guys, I'll look at the tool that Chitra provided the link to, and if I am unsuccessful in configuring that, I will switch it up to workflows etc.
