Custom SMS Plugin work in (workflow)

hi i'm mani

i create a plugin for send sms in dynamics crm 2015 and create workflow for it , i can create one sms to one contact , account , lead . and i create another workflow for send bulk sms and again it's working .

but i want to send sms (custom activity Entity) to campaign (marketing list) ! How can i do that ?

i know i can develop custom workflow activity ! i try to find a way to do it without code !

As you are saying you have plugin to set sms, assuming you will have SMS entity created, you can setup a relationship with marketing list and modify your plugin to set SMS to all the members if marketing list is selected.

Mani,

If you don't want to write custom code you might think to engaged with custom third party solution, such as:

www.powerobjects.com/.../powersms

www.gapconsulting.co.uk/.../auto-sms-for-dynamicscrm

www.xrmconsultancy.com/.../smstext-messaging-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm

Otherwise you have to write your own code.

Another approach you might think is Email to SMS Concept which you can use workflow to send email, then you ask the service provider to convert it to SMS.

You can create activities under campaign as well, after that you have a plugin that can send sms to your campaign target.

Hi Mani,

I need your expertise in troubleshooting my issue with Custom Workflow using SMS gateway API.

API being used : http://210.211.109.118:80/apibrandname/send

I created a custom WF which will take input parameters and output parameters.

I included class file in the same solution file which will establish connection to this API and calls the SMSResponse and SMSRequest methods. I registered the workflow activity, but when i trigger this I get below error

"Could not find default endpoint element that references contract 'SMS_Service.send' in the ServiceModel client configuration section. This might be because no configuration file was found for your application, or because no endpoint element matching this contract could be found in the client element."

Many blogs says include http binding , when I do that and create a clientproxy I am not getting SendSMS and SMS Response methods. Could you please help .
