I have the problem of not being able to upload the changes I've done in excel Microsoft Dynamics Office ad-in back to Business Central. This is when trying to edit an journal from Business Central in excel.
The error code tells me I can't edit because the journal already have been modified by another user.

Have tried most things and nothing works.

Hello Lasse - I am seeing a few users reporting this same issue.  We have a fix for this coming.  It should be deployed Monday/Tuesday timeframe.

    Hello Andy

I have just tried again and there is still a problem

Downloading an excel sheet from Dynamics (with multiple rows), changing anything and trying to reupload it to Dynamics will result in the same error where "another user have already changed the record".

If this is of any help

    Hi Lasse,

Simply clear your credentials and cache for Excel and try again.

Or simply you can copy fields from Gen. journal using Ctrl+C into Excel.

Make changes to field values in Excel and just copy the row from Excel and paste in Business using Ctrl+V.

This could be workaround but you need to evaluate if you Excel has any issues or exceptions created by something.

You can also create a Microsoft Support if this issue is critical.

    Hope this helps!
