GP2010 eConnect installation problem.

I'm trying to install GP2010 eConnect on my work laptop for development purposes.  My laptop is Win 7 Enterprise.  During the installation I receive the error "The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this machine"  The error comes after entering the domain / username / pw

I'm admin on my box, have tried adding self to powerful users.  Tried creating local account and referencing that for the install.

Nope , That did not work, I check and I am user on the sql server instance on my laptop with sysadmin rights.  I have SQL 2k5 developer installed and 2K8 express, I un-installed 2k8 so only 2k5 existed on my box.

Have you selected to 'Run as Administrator'?

Yes, have tryied to Run as Administrator as well, Also tryied changing the compatablilty.

My most recent attempt was to create a local admin user, assign the user sysadmin rights in SQL server and login as a local domain user.  But get the same error.

Here is the event log from an audit failure exception that seems to be the related cause.

"The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this machine"

Our partner has sent a fix that has me changing my security policy , however the SE is indicated that this would affect the entire company.

    Partner suggestion is :

"By Default, the Everyone group is suppose to be there among the list of groups in the setting below.

Administrative Tools | Local Security Policy | Security Settings | Local Policies | User Rights Assignment | Access this computer from the network"

Our security policy does not have the Everyone listed only domain accounts.
