Have you tried to configure the receipt cutting in the printer properties and/or preferences? I thin one of which provides you an option to cue the receipts and also it should provide you to open drawer options as well if you have connected drawer to printer.

I apologize. This is for Windows printer driver  and I have been using it without any issues so far. I tried a lot to configure with OPOS driver but no success even after talking to EPSON for couple of hours and reading the instructions by MS. Some will say you have to use the OPOS but it is strictly not required unless you prefer OPOS for the printers. I can provide you more information on this printer since there are lots of other printer specific functions in the printer utility software where you can configure the logo, coupons etc.

Login to www.epsonexperts.com and download the most updated OPOS drivers for Epson

Application Development -> OLEPOS -> OPOS ADK (currently on version 2.70E R17)

When installing OPOSADK make sure to select the interface that belong to your printer (USB, Ethernet, Serial, LPT, Bluetooth)

When creating the Printer OPOS device, you have to create the interface port, and setup the communication settings propertly.

I have install a good number of TM-T20 serial and usb printers, since this have a much better price than TM-T88s, and haven't had any problem, with either interface.

Any problems or question just send me an email
