Email to case setup in Sandbox

Hello community,

I am fairly new to CRM and have I am hoping a simple one for the experts out there.

Having setup a sandbox using minimal copy I would like to set up inbound email to case testing for one or more test mailboxes. I don't want to impact the live production instance at all.

We use o365 for email.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Create a brand new email In Exchange/O365 just for the sandbox, add that address to the Queue you want people to test, and instruct testers to send mail to it.  

    Then make sure any test customers an contacts you use don't have live email addresses, so your outbound testing doesn't go anywhere.

    Does this need to be a licensed mailbox or can this be shared.

    It does not!  You can do a shared mailboxes to point to Queues in Dynamics.
