RMS and GP

I can't find a decent answer for this anywhere.

Does RMS and GP run on the same database structure? Or are they completely different schemas?

I'm looking to do an integration between an ecommerce platform and RMS, and I'm wondering if I can use an off-the-shelf product that's meant for GP. I'll tweak it a bit, but I'd like it to remain mostly intact.

    Hi Darth Chaos,

Although RMS and GP falls under the Dynamics bundle, these products were created to work standalone so both applications have their own database (i.e. have their own database schemas).

A custom integration would need to be created so to transfer data between applications.

    Regards,
