BC/Power Automate | Bi-monthly automated email for overdue invoices

I'm trying to set up a scheduled email that will run bi-monthly to all customers who have overdue invoices.

My intention would be to use Power Automate to do this and while I could set this up for a link with Dynamics 365 Sales and CDS, I'm not sure how it would be best to do this for Business Central.

Can anybody advise the best approach for this?

I have the same question (0)

BC has a feature for chasing overdue invoices already. Check out “reminders”: docs.microsoft.com/.../receivables-collect-outstanding-balances

    Can be setup automatically: usedynamics.com/.../

Doing with Power Automate would be fiddly given you need a collection of customers who have an overdue balance first, then you will want to probably list out the invoices second. Is certainly achievable but BC has the functionality with business logic already.

Thanks for your response.  I had looked into this but this unfortunately won't suit our customer as they want it automated.

After watching the video it appears that reminder terms need to be set for each customer and then the reminders need to be issued individually.

What the customer is looking for is a twice monthly email that goes out to the customers with overdue invoices.  Using the bespoke system they are moving away from, this goes out without the need to set up on the customer record.

Well in that case my blog post might give you some ideas on how to get going with this. It caters for a different scenario but most of the tools you will need are mentioned: d365bcangle.wordpress.com/.../
