Tape-in hair extensions typically have a lifespan of approximately six

Posted on by
Tape-in hair extensions typically have a lifespan of approximately six to eight weeks when initially attached. However, after about four to six weeks, you will need to revisit the salon to have them reapplied. This maintenance is necessary because as your natural hair grows, the extensions move along with them, becoming more noticeable. During this visit, the tape-ins should be adjusted, keeping them about 1/4th of an inch away from the scalp.
Regarding the longevity of the extensions, you can reuse the same set up to three times before they require replacement. In essence, each set of tape-in hair extensions can last between three to five months before it is advisable to consider purchasing a new set.
