Use the Custom Link in Workflow Response to land on a filtered page for with the record number

We are using the standard Purchase Order approval workflow and we're trying to make it better, especially in the case of a Rejection.
 
We'd like the Purchaser to know why the PO was rejected without having to go to the PO, click on APproval and then click on comments. Having the comment directly in the notification would be best, and second best is to have the notification link to the comments page, filtered for the PO.
 
There is no documentation at all on how to use the Custom Link to get it to do what I want.
 
Is there a way to build a link that will send to Approval Comments page and filter on whatever record is at the source of the workflow triggering ?
This is how the end of the URL looks when I navgiate to it :

Is there another way of doing what I'm looking for, maybe through an extension ? Is it possible to extend the code unit that is responsible for the notification to have the email contain the rejection comment in its body ?

    Using Power Automate is another option to generate detailed notifications with comment details without extensive code changes.
    You can Create an AL extension to pull rejection comments from the Approval comment line table and add them to the email body, giving immediate insight into the reason for rejection.
