Hi

Presently to build visualised Power BI report out of BC data we get the details through API’s. (API’s will be written by BC team)

Current Process as best Practice – API’s---à DW--à Power BI or API’s directly to BI and modelling will happen in BI.

I would like to know the other ways and means to visualise Power BI Reports from BC. All other available modes and their reliability will really help us to way forward in the Reporting.

Best is to use APIs. Out of the box APIs or custom APIs, based on queries.
I recommend not to use web services anymore, they will become obselete in the future.
Creating a Datawarehouse is an option, but maybe first give dataflows a try?
