how to convert email or URL on link

Hello Team,

I have a description field with multi-line type control .

I want to insert a email(Test@test.com) and URL(WWW.test.com or test.com) in that field and want to converted a link directly.

So,user can click on it and reached on URL link or create a mail by outlook feature.

Please suggest me the way how can i do this.

    Hi Rahul,

    you cannot implement such a behavior into multi-line field. Instead you have to use single line text field with the appropiate format (URL or E-Mail).

    If you need this functionality out of a multi-line field, I could image thats possible by implementing a browser add-on or a script for add-ons like greasemonkey which does the job.

    Are you sure i cannt do this even using with the javascript as well.

    Beacuse i think on key press we can change this to link .but i am not sure .

    please suggest me .if there is any way to do this same thing.

    it's not possible using OOB multi-line field. One way to  do this adding  html web resource with rich text box and showing that in a form. Save the content back to crm multi-line text field. Also when form loads reload the multi-line text valaue to richtext box in web resource.This user can click link from rich-text box to directly go to the clicked link address.
