Hi team,
 
When I am trying to setup formula with By - product as one of the product and keep by product cost allocation as /Per Quantity/.
 
When I run BOM Calculation or estimate batch Order I get below error:
 
/Cost category has not been specified/
 
 
Routes are also  tagged but still  same error, Even batch Order I am unable to create.
 
Could you please help ?

    Hi,
     
    Can you check cost group is mapped on item and cost category is mapped on route operations.
     
    Cost group to Released product:
     
     
    Moreover, cost group should be mapped with the cost categories and cost price is defined.
     
    Cost category should also be part of route as a setup/run/quantity.

    Thanks for your response. 
     
    I have tagged cost group in Formula and by product and also ensured that route is tagged to Main Formula and also Cost price is tagged to Cost Categories.
     
    But still no luck. Its still shows error when I set By product cost allocation as "per quantity".

    In Production control parameter , under the standard update you need to define cost category. It will resolve the issue.
