Runtime error 438 after enabled Net Display

Runtime error 438 Object doesn't support this property or method showing up right after enabled the Net Display, , v2.0 with SP4, SQL Server 2008 R2, VS2010 installed, Win7 Ultimate 32bit with SP1, IE9.

It happened with FP1 as well, looks like an ADO issue, anyone experienced this error before? There is an known issue in SP4 readme, http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=117302 but looks Win7 not affected by this issue.

    Kaibin,

Are you using a Net Display from the RMS install or something you customized?

    Try C:\Program Files\Microsoft Retail Management System\Store Operations\HTML\receipt.htm  if customized.

No, don't even enabled the "Show receipt on Net Display".

I'm having similar issue with hooks, one of my hook crashing with similar error. Looks like ADO has depricated functions in Windows 7, Severice Pack 1.

Same hook works on a machine with Windows 7 only.

Did you find a solution for this?

    thank you in advance
