To add permissions to a user in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you can follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to Business Central with an account that has administrative privileges.

    2. Navigate to the "Users" page. You can typically find it in the "Administration" or "Setup and Extensions" section. The exact location may vary depending on your version of Business Central.

    3. Locate the user to whom you want to add permissions and open their user card.

    4. On the user card, go to the "Permissions" or "Permission Sets" tab. Again, the label may differ slightly based on your Business Central version.

    5. Click on the "New" button or a similar option to create a new permission set for the user.

    6. In the permission set, you will see a list of available permissions or permission groups. Depending on your requirements, you can select individual permissions or groups that best align with the user's role.

    7. Save the changes to the permission set.

    8. On the user card, select the newly created permission set from the "Permission Sets" field or a similar field.

    9. Save the user card to apply the changes.

By following these steps, you will have successfully added permissions to a user in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The user will now have the assigned permissions when accessing the system.
