"Your server is not available or does not support this application." - iPad app for CRM 2013

I get this error when I try to add my on-premise organization to the iPad app for 2013. I have checked this article: http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/2899983 and have verified that I am using a trusted certificate. Does it just not work?

Try to enable tracing on the iPad: technet.microsoft.com/.../hh699694.aspx

And this is a guide that I used to follow to troubleshoot the problem: technet.microsoft.com/.../dn660982.aspx

We have released a new version of the app:

    itunes.apple.com/.../id678800460

this new build addresses the issue we had :

When user try to log in to CRM online using the iphone/ipad app, they get the following error message:

“Your Server is not available or does not support this application".

    Hi Arpita,

Yes, that is the version I am running. It does not work.

It might be worth noting that I'm using a non-standard port in my URL i.e. 5443 instead of 443. Might this have any bearing on the connection?

    Hi,

We have a user experiencing this problem too with CRM Online for the Iphone 6 using the Dynamics CRM for phones app.

The app was removed and then installed again and it works on another Iphone 6 but none of the users can login to this particular phone as they get the following:

Bump. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe worth reporting to Microsoft as it is CRM online.

I'm not sure if it's same with the iPhone app but with the iPad you can enable logging to pull the details of the error. It would be under Settings--> CRM on the iPhone. Have a look at the intructions for iPad to see if it's the same: technet.microsoft.com/.../5622050b-a0e8-40ca-9ed5-fc082d5212a8
