Unable to insert or delete rows in Transaction Entry when using the Action Pane Display

We recently upgraded to Dynamics GP 2013 R2 and since the addition of the Action Pane Display we are unable to insert or delete rows in Transactions--Inventory--Transaction Entry without switching the window display back to the Menu Bar display. Does anyone know if this was an intentional change or if it might be a bug?

Thanks,

Kirk

I think it's a bug Kirk.  I've seen this same issue reported here on this or another window.  The Action Pane has broken things in other functions as well, such as Integration Manager.  http://gp2themax.blogspot.com/2014/08/issue-with-integration-manager-and-new.html

I agree with Frank and even in Purchase order entry no option to insert a line and delete.  Onle if you drill down to Item detail entry you can delete the same.

Just to add the issue exist in general journal entry but the user can right click and insert or delete.

    Hello Kirk

Not to limit down the list, there is no complete list of the issues encountered with the new GP 2013 R2 action pane, although, the only work around solution is to switch to the old menu as stated above.

In addition to Frank's article, Mark Polino has mentioned this recently in his weekly dynamic Issues with the R2 Action Pane

I do believe as well that this should be categorized as a bug, hoping the future releases will take this into consideration.

Thank you all for the replies and links. For now I suppose we will just switch back to the old menu layout.

    Best regards,

    Kirk
