Inventory quantity -120.00 could not be updated due to insufficient inventory transactions for item 08 with dimensions....

Hi,

I am unable to complete WORK for IC sales order with below error message,

Inventory is available in Pick location = Stock. Am I missing something here?

    Inventory transactions for the item:

    For this IC sales order , purchase order 943 was created to buy inventory for this item. Work 421 was for PO 943.

    Hi Laurens,

    Thank you for your reply.

    I was able to resolve this. I found out that this was happening because firstly work was not completed under vendor PO which means inventory didn't move for IC SO work Pick location and secondly inventory was not reserved as it was pending due to PO work.

    So, I complete the PO work first which brought inventory in for IC SO.

    Then cancelled the already created work for IC SO and released wave again which reserved the correct quantity from correct location.
