Hi,

Here is our client requirement.

We have shelf life controlled item with batch tracking.

On hand list, we would like to visualize as a dimension to show manufacturing n expiry date of the product so that the team can send that product to the customer.

Business dont want to see in duplicate tabs with batches screen in one form and on hand list in 1 form. Is there any easy way to join these two tables through advanced filter so that it can be visualized under 1 screen.

Thanks.
I have the same question (0)

If I understand your requirement correctly, I'm afraid this cannot be done easily in the standard user interface with the advanced filter. It would require some customization one way or the other to achieve this.

    Hi,

As mentioned above, you need a customization. Note that the on-hand form is configurable by users. The batch number is not always selected as visible on the form. You should take care of that in your extension. You can try to start with the blog posts shared by Vigneshvaran.

    Hi

You will have to do a custom form in D365. It is not possible to view the requested info in one single form.

    Hi,

the form "Shelf life as of date" (Inventory management --> Inquiries and reports --> Batches --> Shelf life as of date) might have everything you are requesting. Just put the "As of" date to a date far in the future (e.g.: 31/12/2099) and you will have all the informations about the batches on-hand and manufacturing and expiration date in one form:

Looks like this would be atleast a better workaround suggestable to the client. Thanks for the information.

    Thanks.
