Hi All,

I an stucked in one situation. I have modified lead qualification behavior as per my customer requirement.

I am qualifying lead through plugin and after that there is one workflow running which will create customer and loan account.

But workflow is not executing.

Workflow running conditions:

Workflow will run once leads status and status reason changes to Qualify.

Kindly suggest what i am doing wrong

Hi,

how do you know it's not running? Are there any conditions in the workflow? Could you post a screenshot of the workflow steps?

Probably the problem is in either of these two points:

Record field changes does not include all fields

None of the two sets of conditions are respected

Solution:
Try to simplify workflow on a single field to identify the problem, probably it will be the state change.

Hi,

It seems that you wish to run the workflow on qualifylead message i.e. when a lead is qualified.

CRM has qualifylead as a specific message which is other than status change so a OOB workflow will not trigger on lead qualification i.e. when a lead is qualified.

Though status change is triggered when lead is disqualified.

So in order to execute your code you may opt for a plugin.

As per your scenario, you are qualifying a lead from inside a plugin yourself. So you may opt for QualifyLeadRequest and then then out your customer create logic there.

When you dont know where is the problem, you have to "remove variables" to force the workflow to start execution.

So you could try to leave one condition only.

In your case i would do the following:

1. Add to "Records field change" all the fields involved in the workflow, like "LeadDocument uploaded", "LeadQualifyStatus" etc.

2. Remove two of three conditions to force the workflow start.

Please keep in mind that "Change status" event is a bit tricky so it would be better to deals with other fields (like a boolean field set to true when state change, so you can deal with a single attribute value).

Hi Francesco,

I have tried your recommendation on two organization - one is my trial organization and one is my customer DEV box. In training organization - I am portal admin and in my customer DEV instance - i am a user on portal and having sys admin,sys customizer roles.

I have created same workflow(in both instance) with simple condition - send email once lead will be qualified and lead customer doesn't contains data.(Condition - Record Status Change). I am a workflow owner in both organizations.

Surprisingly I have received different results on both organization.

Results:

My Organization:

Workflow is running fine.

Customer DEV Instance:

Workflow is not executing. I have checked "Process Information", there is no log for workflow step. Even it is not firing.

I don't know what is the problem.

Can you suggest any recommendation?

Thanks for your response.

Little confused here , As you are saying workflow will not trigger on lead qualification.

If i am just adding "ModifiedOn" field change, my workflow is working.

But on that particular condition "Record Status Change", it is not working.

On one of my training organization, same worklow is working but on my customer DEV instance, it is not working.

It's definitely a security configuration issue.

Please replicate the exactly configuration in either enviroments (same user, same by, same teams, same roles) and please, check in Office365.com administration portal you are not using "Administration mode" for sandbox enviroment:
