RFQ - Question cutoff date

Hi community,

In Dynamics 365 F&O documentation, it is specified that: /In the Cutoff date field, define the final date by which questions must be submitted. If no cutoff date is entered, questions are accepted as long as the RFQ is open and accepting bids./

=> All this leads to the conclusion that the field cutoff date and time is related to the question and answer and has no impact on the reply management operation.

Issue : When trying to edit RFQ replies or to process RFQ scoring on a RFQ with a passed date in the field question cutoff date and time, the System stops me and display the following warning message /Cutoff date cannot be before the current date./
I'm not facing this issue when i leave the field empty.

I think the system is checking the value of the cutoff date and time field when I try to enter a value in RFQ replies, even though the field exists on the RFQ screen and not on RFQ replies. Can anyone suggest a verification parameter to deactivate or is this a bug in the system?

    RFQ - Question cutoff date
    Hi Mohamed Graib,

I thiknk you're talking about Expiration date and time field, it is used to specify the date and time after which vendors cannot submit their bids, while the cutoff date and time field is linked to the activation of the question reponses function: it marks the final date  By which questions can be submitted by the vendor.

    RFQ - Question cutoff date
    Hi,

I think that it's not an issue,  the cutoff date and time field is used to specify the date and time after which vendors cannot submit their bids, so if you set a cutoff date that is passed, the system will not allow you.

Hope that's helpful and answer to your question.

    Regards,

    Hi!
I've never noticed this behavior, but you're right.
I recommend you raise a support ticket to Microsoft.
