Maintenance forecast project 'xxxx' is not a time and material project.

Hi All,

I am doing in Asset Management module  > tried to create  Maintenance job type defaults.

I got this below error when tried to create Maintenance job type defaults. Does anyone know how to resolve this? 

Maintenance forecast project 'xxxxx' is not a time and material project.. Please change maintenance forecast project in Asset Management parameters or apply changes in Project management and accounting module.

The Maintenance forecast project in the Asset Management Parameter must be an Internal Project  (can't select Time & Material Proejct)

Please let me know how to deal with this issue?

    Did anybody submit a bug fix for this? We are getting exactly the same error after upgrading from 10.0.31 to 10.0.33 as well. Anybody reached out to Microsoft yet?

    I have the same issue, after upgrading from version 10.0.31 to 10.0.33.

    What are the impacts of changing the "Maintenance forecast project" to a T&M project? Is this documented and explained somewhere?

    Hello,

    You must create a new time and material project, since with the new version the billing function is mandatory.

    We could replace the Maintenance forecast to T&M Project

    The maintenance forecast must be an Internal project.Can not select Time and Material.

    Must create a T&M Project to replace that Internal project.

    We can't turn of the Mandatory feature.

    Hi Mohit, I have a similar issue as Hang, but as of Supply Chain Management version 10.0.32, this feature is mandatory and can't be turned off. I am using Internal Project.

    Please let me know how to deal with this issue.
