Maintenance forecast project 'xxxx' is not a time and material project.

Hi All,

I am doing in Asset Management module > tried to create Maintenance job type defaults.

I got this below error when tried to create Maintenance job type defaults. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Maintenance forecast project 'xxxxx' is not a time and material project.. Please change maintenance forecast project in Asset Management parameters or apply changes in Project management and accounting module.

The Maintenance forecast project in the Asset Management Parameter must be an Internal Project (can't select Time & Material Proejct)

Please let me know how to deal with this issue?

Hi Hang, This is standard validation to validate if 'Work order billing' feature is enabled then check if project setup in the parameter is Time and Material.

I have replicated your issue in standard environment and turning this feature off fix the issue. However, You need to do impact analysis before turning it off.

If you don't want to turn off the feature, then probably customization will be the answer.

Hi Mohit, I have a similar issue as Hang, but as of Supply Chain Management version 10.0.32, this feature is mandatory and can't be turned off. I am using Internal Project.

Please let me know how to deal with this issue.

Must create a T&M Project to replace that Internal project.

We can't turn of the Mandatory feature.

We could replace the Maintenance forecast to T&M Project
