Document Location Error: The URL does not exist

I'm working on creating a PowerApps Portal front end for our clients. I'm having an issue implementing Sharepoint integration using the entity Document Locations. Every time I go to create an Document Location I get the following error:

The URL does not exist. Do you want to continue?

I know that the 'Parent Site or Location' entry is correct becuase it's a Sharepoint Site entity that has been validated. I think it might be my 'Relative URL' but when I put the whole URL in my browser (ParentSite/RelativeURL) it opens up the desired Document Location.

Any insight into what could cause this error/warning would be appreciated. If you need any more information to help solve the problem please ask. I am very new to Dynamics 365.

Extra information: When I try to run the Portal using this Document Location I get the following error:

No list could be found with the relative URL listUrl. Ensure that document management has been enabled for the entity.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi partner,

"No list could be found with the relative URL..." this error message is usally caused by you did not enable "Document Management" for your entity.

For example you want to enable sharepoint in case entity, you could refer to the following steps.

    1.Go to Settings->Customizations->Customize the System->Case.

2.Go to Settings->Document Management Settings, in the "Selected entities" grid, please make sure "case" has been selected.

    3.Click next.

    Then try again.

You could refer to the steps provided by doc.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards,

RE: Document Location Error: The URL does not exist

    Hi Leo Zhang!

First let me just say thanks for your reply, it's greatly appreciated!

I have gone through this process and set up my entity to enable Document Management. However, my Dynamics 365 environment uses Sharepoint Site A as its default site and I am attempting to setup my entity to use Sharepoint Site B. (Site B is a child site to that of Site A).

So when doing the above Steps I use Site A.

To then redirect my entity to look at Site B, I'm using a Document Location Entity, this is where I then get the Error/Warning that the URL does not exist.

I've got a very similar issue - did you ever find a solution?

I did, I found that after enabling SharePoint document storage using the steps above, I could then create an entity and select the drop down next to the entity name. You should see Documents as an option, when you select that it will create a folder in SharePoint for you to use. Theoretically this folder could then be mapped elsewhere but I had no success and just kept using this folder that was automatically generated.
