    Hi,

Activity entity is just a container for all the activities, you need to enable auditing for the individual activity i.e./ Appointment, task etc.

    Hope this helps.

    HI.

Enable auditing for specific activity. Like task, phone call or email.

    Thanks.

You can't, as suggested above, auditing is logged as per individual activity so you need to get the Audit history for specific activity.

Activity is parent entity of all activity entities like email, task etc. and it is not customizable.

You have to enable auditing on email, task , phone call etc.

    Hi Yash,

Limited information can be obtained from Audit Summary view , to know if there was any create/update done on a specific record by a specific user. If you click on the event you will get detailed information on what changes were performed and the record Owner. But this view can not be exported to excel or customized.

    Hi Yash,

You are talking about two different things-

    1) Enabling Auditing: As suggested before, you cannot enable this for Activity entity. You need to enable it for individual activity like Email. The steps are same as you followed for Activity i.e. instead of activity select Email and then check the Auditing.

    2) Fetch the Audit Data: Audit records are available after you enable Auditing for the Activity i.e. Email however as suggested by Deepika above, there are no standard/straight forward way of extracting it. There is a plugin in Xrm Toolbox which you can use:

    www.xrmtoolbox.com/.../AuditHistoryExtractor

The below thread talks about some other option which you can try but mainly involves writing custom code..

    Hope this helps.
