management reporter - blank gl segments

HI folks

I am planning a gl that is four segments, segment one and two will always have values, segment three and segment four have the possibility of being blank.

 

I am hearing that Management reporter cannot handle blank gl segments as Frx used to be able to. Is that true?

    No, Management Reporter can handle blank GL segments.

    is there something in a manual that says this?  The VAR is insisting it cannot.

    We had two bugs logged against blank segments in GP not working correctly in our prior release. At that time we were told by a specific partner that their industry specifically designs their COA this way. These two bugs were fixed in Feature Pack 1 of MR v2, so have been fixed for a year or more.  I'd suggest you move forward assuming this works. If really worried then setup a proof of concept demo to make sure it works as you'd expect.
