Setting a default credit card in payables management

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

Is there a way to set a default credit card in Payables Management so that when the credit card option is selected, the "Card Name" Field is auto populated?   We are currently in GP 10.

Thanks,

Sallie Carrier

    Hello Sallie,

Leslie is correct in her post. You can do this with Modifier/VBA but GP is currently designed to make the process of entering that information manual. The Card Name field is blank by design and there are no setting in GP to change that.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,

    Hi Sallie,

If you have Modifier/VBA, you can set the value of the field when the payment window opens.

It would be a very simple thing to do.

I do not know of a place where you can set a default for company credit card. It's a good idea though.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
