Is RMS PCI compliant using a magnetic card reader

I have several RMS clients who still use the original TSYS credit/debit card processing with a magnetic card reader.

TSYS also transmits transactions using ssl1.tsysacquiring.net/scripts/gateway.dll?transact for credit cards and ssl2.vitalps.net for debit cards.

Is RMS PCI compliant using this EDC configuration? How do new rules apply to the RMS out of the box Credit/Debit processing.

You can migrate your customer to Cayan that runs on Tsys platform

My understanding from TSYS is that they are turning off the merchant accounts for all retailers who use EDC and USB card readers (and the SE1000/Se1100 pin pads) effective July 1st, 2018. I've had several RMS users receive letters from TSYS and we are in the process of switching them to Card Defender.
