Activities Subgrid on Account form does not show emails/activities for related Contacts

Hi

We have an activity panel on our Account form that should show emails etc related to the Account and any associated Contacts however we can only get it to show those directly related to the Account. Has anyone overcome this issue? I know that you can click through to the Account Activities and that grid shows everything but we would like it on the main form.
