When trying to post a purchase credit memo I'm getting the following error message:

You must post more usage or credit the sale of Item ......... in Job ......... before you can post purchase credit memo.

Any idea ?

I have the same question (0)

Is the creditmemo you try to post connected to a job? And have you not invoiced anything on that job yet?

Hi, It looks like you are associated with Job.

If you don't find the Job related fields on the Purchase Credit, you can use A to check which Job is linked. and then check that Job again.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

    Hi NorthW,

This is a purchase credit note and the items are posted on the job in question for this particular supplier, budget planning lines. The task is marked as budget only and not budget and billable. Would that make a difference for a purchase credit memo ?

    Kind regards,

    Claire

    Hi Yun Zhu,

I can find the job with tasks and planning lines with the actual items on but for some reason it doesn't allow these particular items to be credited.

Any ideas of where to go next ?

    Thanks,

    Claire

    Hello,

I see you already received a few good suggestions from the community. That is great. If you cannot go further, feel free to raise it via your partner or CSP to Microsoft support so we can give it a try as well while we look at your system in a session.

    Thanks.

Thank you Marco, I've raised the issue with our partner to raise with Microsoft if required.

    Thanks, Claire
