Dear All,

The Customer data into CRM has been completed successfully but with missing identities, So do we have to manually update/edit each customer record with relevant details ??? or is there a easy way out to finish this task.

We are using MS CRM 2016 On Premises Version

Regards,

Hari

This refers to IMPORT from another third party existing software currently being used...

What do you mean by missing identity? Didn't you import all fields? If not, you can still export all customer records (with just the identifier and columns that you need to populate) make changes and import back to update records.

Hi , here is a workaround

You can create an on demand workflow , that check the identity field and then fill it , for that ,

1- create a custom entity "temp"

2- import the data again to this entity and make sure that you have the identity field filled

3- in your workflow , if customer name or any other filled equal the customer name in the temp entity

then -> fill the Customer ID with the Temp ID

Finally -> select all customer records and run you on demand workflow

    thanks .
