How to make a request filter field mandatory in request page?

Pretty much the question in the title. I have a custom report that has a request filter field but it not mandatory to be filled in at the moment. I would like to change that.

    Hi, There are two examples below, you can refer to it.

    Standard Sales - Order Conf. (1305): Filtering is required in Dataitem.

    Calculate Inventory (790): Filtering is required in Request page fields.

    Hi,

    You have to check whether the request filter field is empty or not in the OnAfterGetRecord() trigger inside main dataitem as below.
