Management Reporter - Datamart - company set up options

Hi folks

In company options I need to check the check box for Management Reporter - Enable General Ledger Reporting.

I have just created companies, set the account framework, set the functional currency. 

The check box is grayed out. 

What else do I need to set up to activate the check box?

    Hi,

    What version of MR 2012 are you on .. some of the older MR version do not support this. You have to be at least at CU9 or CU11 if I recall correctly.

    Aside of the version, the 'company integration' option is only available if you have setup the DataMart Connector in MR for your GP companies.. this doesn't work (and is not required) for the Legacy Connector.

    ok..

    You may not need 'sa' absolutely, but at least the GP user needs to be part of the SQL role sysadmin possibly.. (because I can switch that flag in my GP2016R2 and am not logged w/ 'sa').

    I made a support case and the tech started taking me down the path of MR needs a chart of accounts and posted journal entries, then asked oh are you logging in as sa.

    So Msft didn't really know either.
