Hi Guys,

users got error message saying "you must enter a number between -922... and 922..." for currency fields on editable grids. It is not possible to change anything. If user opens the record, the value can be easily changed on the form.

Do you know what could be the case? We don't have any javascripts on these fields etc.

Hey,

I am experiencing the exact same thing. This have worked fine up until now.

I have tried forcing the message away through javascript, but with no luck.

We have Dynamics 365 v8.2 installed.

Anyone know why this are happening?

I did some research.

I believe this error was introduced in the latest update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4338685/service-update-14-for-microsoft-dynamics-365-8-2-2

The asterisk that marks whole-number fields as required in editable grids overlaps the number value

I do not know if this is actually the cause, but to me it looks like most possible reason.

Hi,

Same error for me too.

As far as I can see, this is due to a javascript validation error for the currency fields: they're trying to compare a string representation of the value (eg. "€10.50") with the decimal range bounds.

As Bjørn said, the error was introduced in the last update: 8.2.2

Am also experiencing the same exact thing with currency field in Editable Grid, and am with Dynamics 365 Version 1612 (8.2.2.1960).

Hello,

I am also receiving this error with currency field in Editable Grid, and am with Dynamics 365 Version 1612 (8.2.2.1960).

There is no JavaScript or business rules on the field too.

Given that everyone is reporting the issue I would recommend that you all raise a support request at https://admin.dynamics.com . If enough people do that it should be identified and fixed rapidly...
