Hi Guys,

users got error message saying "you must enter a number between -922... and 922..." for currency fields on editable grids. It is not possible to change anything. If user opens the record, the value can be easily changed on the form.

Do you know what could be the case? We don't have any javascripts on these fields etc.

This issue is resolved by moving release version from Dynamics 365 Version 1612 (8.2.2.1960) to Dynamics 365 Version 1612 (8.2.2.2012). This update can be rolled out only by support people, so need to contact MS support for once.!

Microsoft contacted me informing me that this was a known issue that have been resolved by the development team.

However, it will first be available on the next service update, later in July.

While this affect the editable grid, it does not affect the forms and can still be edited as normal there.

I have created a service request via Office 365, Dynamics 365 Admin Center (Support) - https://admin.dynamics.com/ linking this forum post.

I encourage all that experience the problem to do the same, to ensure that we get attention to the bug.

Exact same issue here. What did you do now? Did you start a service request with Microsoft? Or do we wait?

Drew, the bug seems to be recently introduced in the latest 8.2.2 service pack release...

I just tested this with 9.0 and it is working and not seeing the error but with a different side effect...

Given that everyone is reporting the issue I would recommend that you all raise a support request at https://admin.dynamics.com . If enough people do that it should be identified and fixed rapidly...

Hello,

I am also receiving this error with currency field in Editable Grid, and am with Dynamics 365 Version 1612 (8.2.2.1960).

There is no JavaScript or business rules on the field too.
