Create inventory put away - different shipment days

Posted on by 93
Hi

Sales order with two lines that is having different Shipping dates.
/Partial/ under Shipping advice on header.
Shipping date on the sales order header is using the same date as one of the rows (the earliest date)
When using the button /Create Inventory Put Away/, inventory picking is created for both lines, even though one of the dates is in the future.

Is it possible to configure the system to only create inventory picking for dates that are NOT in the future?

    Hi ,

I see this is possible  by applying the filter at the correct places. In the Create Inventory Pick Report, you can achieve either by applying filter if you want to filter by Item. However if you want to filter based on the  shipment date, then you should by applying filter at the different place

For creating Inventory pick based on Item filter

For creating Inventory pick based on the shipment date

I hope the above helps to solve your issue.

    Regards

    Hi,

I have tried this a few ways and cannot get the inventory pick to only pick one line.  I've tried various filters but nothing seems to make a difference.  On the latest version there is the option to filter by the fields below.

None of these seemed to work so my guess is that development will be required to make your scenario work or possibly look into the code to see what the document details are used for when filtering.

    Thanks,
    Shauna
