Business Process Flow can't switch stages

After installing the latest update we ran into a host of problems, including our current business process flows being corrupted and needing to be recreated.  However, with the new business process flows in place we cannot switch between stages.  

The next stage button exists, and when you click it the next stage becomes highlighted, but the active stage flag doesn't change.  The set active button is not activated either on any of these stages, but from what I read, the set active button is for moving back in the order vs moving forward.

We can, using the next step button, convert leads to opportunities so it hasn't been a high priority, but anothe recurring bug has surfaced again for which the solution is to go to the next stage or to a previous stage in the business procses flow, save, and then the bug disappears.  As such, this is causing some major consternation.

    We have exactly same problem.

    We have the same issue on Dynamics 365. We can click next stage but the flag doesn't move and we can't select make active. This must be fixed ASAP.

    Hi, Microsoft said that this is a bug and they will fix it next release. Btw, i solved this issue temporarily like that change all workflows to real-time workflow. After change all of them then switch stage works as expected.

    Hi,

    MS even didn't solve CRM online. We solve this problem by changing all workflows to real-time workflows.
