The question is do I still need to declare global variables and include them in datasets and in the layout? Even after including the Include Caption property as yes?

    Hi, you can try using translation file to modify the standard caption.

    The answer is No. 
     
    You don't have to do that if you are using Include Caption.
     
     
    ** This was recorded for Dynamics NAV reports but works in same way for AL Reports. If you have questions let me know, I can re-record in for Business Central.
