Manufacturing Trial Version

I have configured an installation of Dynamics GP 2013 R2 on my server and created a new company. During the installation there was a message saying that my 90-day trial is now activated (which is what I wanted). However when I login to the company I do not see the option for the Manufacturing setup and when I check the Manufacturing Registered Modules I see two messages "All modules are off" and a longer message telling me to reach out to my representative.

Are the Manufacturing (and possibly other modules) are not part of the trial, or do I need to get a special "trial" key for the manufacturing module somewhere?

Have you loaded the Fabrikam company as well? I don't know the specifics for the trial versions at all, but if you have Fabrikam loaded, you may well be able to see Manufacturing in that database.

Other thing to check is that you loaded Manufacturing when you did the install. If you go to "Add / Remove Programs" and "change" the Dynamics GP install, choose "Add/Remove Features", Manufacturing is an option in the install.

You need to click on the option and choose to install.

If neither of those helps, I am out of suggestions.

I think for a trail version you can't use the Manufacturing module without registration in a new company. But, hope you can use the same in Fabrikam company.

Have you tried in Fabrikam company?

I have looked up in the customer source for such details related to manufacturing module trial and I found nothing. Although, there is a fact of use that when a new company is created, the first screen that pops up is related to Manufacturing Registration. For testing purposes, the full functionality of manufacturing module is provided with Fabrikam.

Those are exactly the screens i'm seeing. I'm loading the Fabrikam sample database right now, we'll see if that will have the manufacturing options enabled.

Looks like it's available as part of Fabrikam sample company but not enabled for the trial company. I guess that answers my question! Thanks all.
