Cannot generate prod bom cost share distribution report in Business central

Posted on by 47
Hello,

I tried to generate the prod bom cost share distribution report from Business central but failed. Showed error on /The Item Unit of Measure does not exist. Identification fields and values: Item No.='SR02010',Code='G' /

I had a look at the item code UOM but all seems correct and I cannot find the code /G/.

Did anyone had the same issue before? And how did you fix it?

Thank you!

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.
What the version of business central did you use?
The Item Unit of Measure does not exist, When the report reaches an item that uses a different UOM code, you will receive the following error message.

    Best Regards,
    Judy

    Hi Judy@Judy,

Why I need to create the unit of measurement "G" in the system? Is it possible that I have the related upper layer BOM that has the unit of measurement G in the system?

    Hi,

The error message indicates that the unit of measure specified for the item "SR02010" with code "G" does not exist in Business Central.
Maybe you can try to add the unit of measure "G" defined for the item "SR02010" in Business Central.

    Best Regards,
    Judy

Hi, what is the Unit of Measure when using page inspection to directly view this line of data?

If it is G, may it be an external system or data imported by the Configuration Package? Recreating this line may solve the problem.
And,  you can use the debugger and check from where this error is.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
    ZHU
