Is there a file size limit on the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 v9.00.2047.00 database? If so, what is the limit?

Are you running "full version" SQL Server 2005 or the free Express version?
The full version has a max file size of 16 TB; max database size of 500+ TB.
Express has a max database size of 4 GB; not certain about max file size.

We are running the express version and your answer is exactly what I was looking for and confirms what I had already suspected - that dB size max is 4GB
