I have a user with a local printer and have been using it fine with their Dynamics SL until a couple days ago. They have the settings set to use Windows default printer. I believe the printer gets redirected. When they first logon to Dynamics it shows the printer as for example 50 but the default printer in Dynamics is showing 36 and it's greyed out. How do I get rid of the 36 and have Dynamics look at whatever number is current, in this example the 50? Where can I get rid of the 36. Again this issue just started a couple days ago.

I have the same question (0)Hi Patti,
What it sounds like is the printer information is saved in the user’s Solomon.ini. Printer redirection is indicating that you are in a terminal server environment.
What you can do is go into the user’s Solomon.ini and delete the entire [Print Default] section and save. You will find it in this path on the terminal server: C:\Users\<USER NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Dynamics SL
After this is deleted please go into SL is go to Printer Setup and check the Use Windows Default and Save as Default options. This will set SL to always use whatever Windows default printer is set in the session.
Let me know if this resolves the issue.
