Returns Transaction Entry

Hi,

I am trying to close an open PO which is showing as received in the smartlist - but when I go to returns transaction entry, find the PO number and then it wont show the receipt list is blank

How do I find the receipt to return the line item to be able to close off the PO and be able to make the creditor inactive. ?

Check if you have record in your table.

select * from IV10200 where RCPTNMBR='RCTXXXX'

GP may think that particular widget was sold due to the FIFO layers. You could check the table that Almas suggested or you could go to the Purchase Receipts inquiry (Inventory >> Inquiry >> Receipts) and look up the item. You should be able to see the receipt number in that window and see what the system thinks the Quantity sold is.
