Outlook app for Dynamics 365 (9.0) on Exchange 2013

Hi all,

We have a customer running Exchange 2013 atm and they want to use the app for Outlook. This should be doable according to the documents and the Exchange should be set up properly, I can't verify it because I don't have access to it and to be fair, Exchange is not my area of expertise.

In the OWA I get a Dynamics button on the emails and when I click it it opens a pane in the email. The first time I clicked it I got to log in to Dyn365 and after that it seems that the login is saved somewhere as it just says "authenticating" and the turns to a blank screen with a couple of dots in it

Since it doesn't say anything about authentication error I would assume that the auth is working. How do I troubleshoot this?

I haven't gotten to looking at how it works in an Outlook program yet since the client computer is slightly offline atm but this should also be working.

Thanks

Ok, I accidentally double clicked the Dyn365 button which seems to be opening Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement on the web and then I get this message:

"We can't check to see if the recipients are in Dynamics 365 because you don't have sufficient privileges.

Help me resolve this issue "

The "help me.." is a link to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4078224/we-can-t-check-to-see-if-the-recipients-are-in-dynamics-365-because-yo

Now, my user is system administrator (among other things because of reason) so this error seems a bit odd.  How to proceed with this?

    Regards
