How do you share all leads to another user?

I have over 10,000 leads and I want to share these with another user so we can both work on it.

Is there a way to share all of these at once? Or am I going to have to go page by page, selecting 250 and going on share in the toolbar.

Ah ok I see what you mean now. I misinterpreted the 1st step that you gave.

I'll give it a go tommorow and let you know how it goes.

Jonathan,

The steps to assign all of the leads at the same time is detailed on steps 2-5.

You have to export all the leads to excel following the steps detailed above.

In step 2 you say: 'and then assign the Leads to that Team.' Is there a way of doing this without again going through page after page of 250 records and clicking assign in the ribbon?

As it obviously takes the same amount of time doing this as going through and pressing share 40 times.

Jonathan,

I have an easier and faster solution for you.

1. If you want these leads to be shared by you two, the easiest way to show this is by creating a Team (Settings -> Administration -> Teams -> New) that includes both of you as members and then assign the Leads to that Team. If you create a Team, it is important to remember that you need to assign a Security Role to this team just like you do to a User.

2. Once you decide whether you are going with a Team owning the Leads or simply Assigning those Leads to the other user, create a view with all your Leads and Export them to Excel. Make sure this view has the "Owner" column available for view.

3. When you click on the Export to Excel button, select "All records from all pages" and make sure you select the bottom checkbox that reads "Make this data available for re-importing by including required column headings" and Save the file on your computer.

4. Open the file and you will see all the Lead owners which I assume they are all assigned to you. Change the name of the owner for the first lead to your team name or the other user's name (depending on what you decided on step 1 above) and copy and paste this name to all the Leads on the file.

5. Import the saved file with the new owner and you are good to go!

You will need to 40x250.

There have been tricks posted to increase the grid view list page size but they are unsupported. People have turned it on, done their task and then turned it off.
