How to define different Price for Product Variant of on different unit of measures?

I have one product in Product Master called Prod_01

It has 2 dimension Brand(Confiugration) and Size

So variant name is

1. Prod_01_Var_01

2. Prod_01_Var_02

both variants has different unit of measure and conversion

Ex:

1. Prod_01_Var_01

Unit Conversion

1 CRT(Cartoon) = 24 ea

1 OTR (Outer - inside Cartoon) = 8 ea

1. Prod_01_Var_02

Unit Conversion

1 CRT(Cartoon) = 30 ea

1 OTR (Outer - inside Cartoon) = 10 ea

In my case I can sell the unit in a 3 ways, either CRT(Cartoon) or OTR(Outer) or EA(Each). there is no restriction

So I want to define different price of different unit of measure

I already enable "Use cost price by variant"

And in the Action Panel > Manage Cost > Item Price + add new line

I can define product variant by selecting specific dimensions. But I cannot change unit. By default it assign EA.

In the Released product of product master I define sell unit is EA

I have the same question (0)

I'm not sure Commerce supports different UOMs for variants within a Product Master, but the only way to define variant prices is with trade agreements. You do have UOM field there too so give it a try. To some extent the UOM is irrelevant at the point of sales; perhaps your problem will come further down the line within the warehouse and stock management processes.

Hi Liamneesan,

As I understand it, there is no feature in D365 to define different prices for different units of measure, you can only set prices for each product variant.

Hello Mr Paul Jackson, you are correct, Yes, I tried trade agreement and it works. Could you please tell me what will be the problem will occur in the warehouse and stock management process?.

Besides trade agreement, you can also use Price adjustment which is a Commerce specific function, to define prices based on variant and unit of measure.

I would like to know how you have unit conversion based on variant ?

If it is possible this is great because I am using Dynamics ax 2012. I could not find.

Unit conversion definition by variant is not possible in Dynamics 365 Commerce.
