Passing Customer No. to a newly launched form in Business Central

Hi,

I have created new page which holds mobile contract details for a customer.

The form is then launched from the customer Navigate \ Related action and all is working as I would expect.

The only issue I have is that the end user then needs to use a look up on the launched form to add the Customer No which again is working fine.

Is there a way I can pass this No. (Customer Number) to the second form to make the process more efficient?

Thanks

Phil

    Hi Phil,

You can create a procedure with an input parameter in the newly created form. Then call that procedure before you call the run method to open the new form.

    Thanks
