External File Account Issue

I tried to configure external file account for sharepoint, but I am facing error while opening storage browser, i don't know what did this error message is about please assist me with it.

But strange is when I give my base relative url as Documents/Document so it open Storage Browser for me.

In the error dialog if you click Share details you can paste more specifics into this forum thread. That should help shed some more light on the issue.

Hello,

This error is due to an incorrect SharePoint library path, not a generic Business Central issue. When configuring an External File Account, Business Central expects the actual document library root, which in modern SharePoint is Shared Documents, not Documents. Using Documents/Document may appear to work but is unsupported and unreliable. The correct setup is the site URL plus a Base Relative Folder Path like Shared Documents or Shared Documents/Document, and the app registration must have Sites.ReadWrite.All (application permission) with admin consent. If Shared Documents fails, it’s almost always a permissions or path mismatch.
