    Hello TKR007,

We implemented an overpick function for the RM Pick process and its success was so-so.  So here is a consideration:

Project was for a pharmaceutical manufacturing company with FEFO reservation policy.  When reserved on the Work ID, reservation of the over-picked quantity was not an issue but as soon as the RM Pick work was complete, the quantity that was not reserved on a Production Order became available for reservation.  Towards the end of a batch, these reservation in production location caused complications and a lot of manual de-reservation.

    Something to keep in mind...

    Hi TKR007,

There are 2 standard workaround that can be usefull in your scenario.

    First option:

Use the new feature Replenishment strategy

    Image4.png

When the demand rep will be created it will create on a quantity to fullfill the location at its maximum.

    Second option:

    • Using Location profile Allowing the location to exceed it's capacity for replenishments by for exemple 10 palettes.
    • And use slotting to create Replenishments for the destination location for full pallets at a maximum of demanded quantity

    Kind Regards,
