How to select attachement on a Document to be Send by mail

Hi all,

The Attachement process is pretty cool, when flowing from a master data to a document.

But, when I send , for exemple an invoice to a customer, I can't use the Attachement there were flowing through the process.

I can only send the Invoice.

I would like to be able to send the Invoice, and some of the Attachement.

Is there possible ?

Thank you.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

    This is written here:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/ui-how-add-link-to-record

Attachments, links, and notes stay attached as the card or document is processed into other states, such as from an ongoing sales order to a posted sales invoice. However, none of the attachment types are output from the system, for example, when printing or when saving to a file.

    Hi,

Just to let you know I am working OnPrem.

It is not exactly what I was looking for.

But , I have found out  what I want  :

I was looking for in the base code , how the Mail is managed, so I have found out the function in the table 9500 Email Item : AttachIncomingDocuments

    [Scope('OnPrem')]
        procedure AttachIncomingDocuments(SalesInvoiceNo: Code[20])

And this function does exactely what I need, so I understood that I have to add Incoming Document and not Attachement, but I lost the Attachement Flowing from Master Date functionnality...

So all my Incoming Document are Send in the same Mail , and there are independant mail attachement , Great :)

Incoming Document are not available on Order or Quote, what a pity…..can't send a quote with all the Item Datasheet in one clic.

Maybe in some next version or Cu.

    Thank you
