I have installed MS Dynamics POS 2009 on a new PC in our company. I have restored the old database but I can't get past the activation screen. The telephone numbers that I'm given don't seem to work any more and the online activation just fails with the message "A or communication error has occurred. We are unable to activate your software at this time".
It's a relatively new Windows 7 PC and it's certainly online (I'm typing this on it!). Please help. I need to get my business back up and running!

I did manage to get through on one of the numbers from the POS 2009 phone activation screen eventually. However, I have been through it 4 times now. The last 2 times they have tried to transfer the call to some "technical team" but I have been cut off both times.
Each time they give me a code I just get an "Internal error" and have to start all over again. The team at the phone activation centre just don't seem to have a clue what's going.
Any ideas?
