100We use Adv. Warehouse management and looking for some solutions in order pick full Qty of a serial number.
We have items with batch and serial enabled both, and reservations are at batch level, while serial dimension is lowest in reservation heirarchy. Serial number control is off in tracking dimension.
While picking raw materials for batch order, we need to make sure that we pick full Qty of a serial number.
for e.g. 1 ea = 1000 gms (full container)
and batch order revservation is 500 gms, we still need to pick 1000 gms which is 1 ea
this works using restrict to unit on location directives.
however, when 700 gms left form a serial (partial container) we need to make sure, worker is ONLY allowed to pick full Qty of a serial always, overpick fuction is not a choice.
Can this be achieved using standard configurations ?
